Join DEFI, the Digital Education Futures Initiative, for this trans-disciplinary event, essential for anyone curious about the future of education and interested in mapping its shape and scope.
Intended to focus the broad, often dispersed, knowledge of the wider Cambridge education eco-system, this one-day event will bring together visionary thinkers and future-focused organisations to inspire and guide a select group of attendees and open up challenge spaces for future shared endeavours.

Isaiah Wellington-Lynn
Isaiah is on a mission to tell powerful, impactful, and relatable stories about people, products and problem-solving. Isaiah has created his own interdisciplinary path that has 3 interweaving lanes. He is reading for a DPhil at Oxford, sits on the faculty at a brand new university, the London Interdisciplinary School, and he is an Anthropologist in Residence at TwentyFirstCenturyBrand. He is also a Board Member at Project Access, an international NGO that leverages technology to improve access to education. Isaiah did his undergrad in Anthropology at UCL and Harvard and also studied Psychology, Engineering Science, African-American Studies and Computer Science

Emily Shuckburgh
Emily is a climate scientist and mathematician, a Fellow of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, an Associate Fellow of the Centre for Science and Policy and a Fellow of the British Antarctic Survey. She leads the UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training on the Application of AI to the study of Environmental Risks. A polar expert, she previously led a UK national research programme on the Southern Ocean and its role in climate. In 2016 she was awarded an OBE for services to science and the public communication of science. She is co-author with HRH The Prince of Wales and Tony Juniper of the Ladybird Book on Climate Change.

About Dr Abu Sitta:
Dr. Abu Sitta is the co-author of Dubai e-Government Excellence Model and has received recognition certificates for his distinguished work in the field of organizational excellence from HH. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Royal Highness King Abdullah II.
Dr. Abu Sitta is known for his role in promoting government agility and scenario planning. He has co-authored several studies in the field of foresight and Knowledge Management that have been adopted regionally and globally.
Abu Sitta has achieved his Master of Science in Foresight from University of Houston and a PhD from University of Bath in 1995.
