Dr Michael Hogan

Michael Hogan is the DEFI STRIx Researcher for February 2023, visiting Cambridge in order to further his research on collective intelligence. In addition, he is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the National University of Ireland, Galway.
Michael’s research focuses on basic and applied collective intelligence research and the creation of a new approach to systems science education. He has an increasing focus on providing collective intelligence facilitation support to groups working to address complex issues across a variety of organizational and societal contexts. In Galway, he is currently leader of the Collective Intelligence Network Support Unit (CINSU) and a contributor to the Health and Well-being priority theme at the Whitaker Institute for Innovation and Societal Change.
